ADC Krone is demonstrating its OmniReach FTTx portfolio for fiber-to-the-home and other fiber infrastructures at CeBIT 2007 in Hanover, Germany.
The products enable carriers to provide subscribers with triple-play services that require high-bandwidth transmission speeds.
New additions to the portfolio include a range of products based upon FAME, an initiative the company describes as “single circuit/single element” technology that provides the building block for a range of fiber management products.
“Consumers increasingly demand high-speed services and many carriers have been able to supply them for some time,” said company spokesman Carsten Storbeck.
“However, the infrastructure is often not capable of transferring high quantities of data all the way to the end user.”
